It is with shock and grief that I receive the terrible news of the death of Gianni Dozza. I met and talked with him at international dockworkers conferences in Gothenberg and Montreal over the last few years. His militant proletarian perspective expressed in his contributions always impressed me. Like Paco of La Coordinadora, another dedicated fighter for workers internationalism has died while working on the docks. Let us remember Gianni by building an international dockworkers movement committed to real international solidarity.
