Join Labor On the Job when it interviews three longshoremen from Charleston, South Carolina who are members of International Longshoremen’s Association 1422. ILA1422 President Kenneth Riley, Robert J. Ford and Charles Brave will discuss the battle against an attack on the local by the Nordana Shipping Line and the state and police forces of South Carolina. They will also discuss the role of labor in the fight against the flying of the Confederate Flag at the state capitol.

Also we will be screening a segment on the recent mass teachers protest in Sacramento for more funding for education.
