I have seen the evidence that we were guaranteed lifetime benefits. . .
Since the controversy over the attorney who promised a 9-0 victory at the Supreme Court caught my attention, I have been trying to learn the facts about this issue. Id like to have a look at the evidence you have, Scotty.
Once it is established that there is a guaranteed lifetime medical benefit though, then these questions still need to be answered
Since the funds did run out in the 71 strike, everyone had to realize way back then that the lifetime benefit was a promise without a bank account to pay for it except by demanding maintenance of benefits every contract. I could be wrong, but I think the medical benefits are pay-as-you-go. Otherwise there would have to be a big pot of money set aside.
If there is any evidence that a bank account was established someplace for this purpose, a lot of people besides me would like to see it.
