Hawaiian Rumours

Hey Stephen,

I was just passing on a “rumor” that I heard from a person (i. e. union official) told me as he was relating the talk between him and the Hawaiians. The rumor was “they” meaning Hawaiian representatives of yours to the caucus saying they wanted “our” support in electing Furtado in return for supporting Spinosa. I did not give the rumor any credence until one of the folks running for International Office passed by our hall and put out pamphlets asking for a block vote for Spinosa, McEllrath and Furtado. I personally think Leonard has been a great officer (a lone bright spot in the past few years??) and support him. Glad to hear that the Islands are for Hoshijo as am I.
