Brother:
I’m glad I expressed my chagrin at our Presidents shunning of the democratic process in not attending the Membership meetings at Locals 13 and 63 where the other candidates presented themselves to the rank and file. Being a member of Local 63 I had no idea that he also snubbed his own Local 34 and as you suggest possibly even Local 10. He certainly isn’t in the mold of Harry is he? I remember Harry getting raked over the coals many a time at meetings at Local 13. He stood there and took it and then defended himself admirably. We all benefited from that exchange. That’s an example of the type of standard we should hold our leaders to. When ANY so called leader turns his back on the rank and file, I hope that we would all find that leader “unconscionable.”
