The majority of the mall that I’m getting off the LISTBOT is attacking McWilliams over issues of the SPD and what this lawyer or that lawyer had to say. This maneuver has worked to keep the McWilliams supporters on the defense and preventing us from getting any idea as to who Spinosa is. What has he done for the Longshore Division as Coast Committeeman? Or, as International Vice-president these last three yours?
In my contact with him as Coast committeeman, I saw no leadership ability, he appeared to need the Presidents approval on every thing he said or did. As International Vice-president He has devoted his time to the Southern California area of the Longshore Division at the expense of the rest of the Division and of the International. Would he do anymore if he is elected International President? I think not.
At membership meetings at both Locals 19 and 52, he was critical of the Organizing program that is going on. Yet at the convention in Portland he was a signed the report from the International Officers that spoke positively of this same program. Nor did he speak to this issue during that week.
I fear for the International. Vote against Spinosa
