Richard Mead posted a Resolution from Local 10 that would hold in abeyance the re-election of the Hawaiian V. P. as previously ordered by the I. E. B.
The third Whereas of the resolution states: Whereas not all the facts were known at the time the I. E. B. rendered its decision and new, pertinant, and highly relevant information, directly related to, and reflecting upon the I. E. B.s decision has since come to light,
If all the facts were not known then why doesnt the resolution clarify what this new relevant information is. There has already been an I. E. B. session held to investigate the election. The Board properly found that candidate Wesley Furtado was prejudiced against in his ability to run an equal and fair campaign against the incumbant. No new or different information can change the facts that were already heard by the I. E. B. Wesley Furtado rightfully deserves a chance at a fair and unbiased election, and he will get it. The ballots go out Friday Oct. 6, 2000. Make sure you vote for the progressive candidate. x WESLEY FURTADO.
