Ole Møller

To all our good friends and comrades in the Port of Aarhus,

It is with deepest sorrow and regret that we hear of the death of Ole Møller.

Over time there appears on the horizon a man who represents all the varying aspects of a human being. A man who is prepared to recognise and share in the glory of life with his fellow man, immaterial of colour, race, religion or creed. A man whose reality urges him to act and participate in International Solidarity with and for his fellow man. A man who never tires of travelling the world to listen and to advocate the principled reasoning of Internationalism, not just for dockworkers but for all workers in struggle wherever they may be. A man who is aware of the oppressive nature of the political, social and economic pressures that workers have to endure. A man who believed that all humanity must enrich their lives, not through fear or exploitation but through the freedom of life itself. Within this context that man conceded all for humanity. We will always be in debt to that outstanding man whose name is Ole Møller.

Ole will always be in the hearts of the sacked Liverpool Dockworkers for the tremendous help and support that he gave during our 28-month dispute.

He was real “Working Class Hero”.

Thank you Ole.

Please pass on our deepest condolences to his wife Lisa and son Peter.
