For anyone interested in the proposals for new European legislation towards deregulating the port industry, I’ve put a couple of documents in the file archive. One is the original draft rapport from the Commissions Director General for Transport and Energy and the other is Georg Jarzembowski's proposals for a change in direction. They’re lengthy, bureaucratic papers but that’s the way it works. For dockers unions, the main issues are in Article 6. 5 and Article 11.
