Dear Sisters and Brothers,
We have decided to arrange an International Conference from Saturday 17th February 1996, for one week to Friday 23rd February 1996, in Liverpool.
We urgently seek your attendance and co-operation in order we can mobilise maximum international support for our dispute, and other disputes with International repercussions.
Because of the constraints on our financing of the dispute, we ask that you make arrangements for your travel to Liverpool, and that you seek the assistance of your organisation to bear the cost of travel. All accomodation and hospitality costs during your stay in Liverpool will be met by the Merseyside Port Shop Stewards Committee.
Please acknowledge receipt of this communication, along with details of your attendance of the conference, number of delegates, date, time and arrival point in the UK. Please also inform us of any particular requirements you may have during your stay in the UK.
Please make every effort to attend this very important event, and we look forward to seeing you on your arrival.
