"Port in a Storm" is a new 79 minute video compilation of four short programmes on the Liverpool dockers dispute:

"Snow on the Waterfront" features Women of the Waterfront picketting through last February's snow and ice, showing how and why they are the secret weapon in the dockers' dispute.

"The Tide is High", shot on the mass picket during the February 1996 International Dockers' Conference, which laid the basis for the current wave of world-wide industrial action.

"The Dockers Club" celebrates the unique encounter of international delegates with Liverpool dockers and their families in an evening of songs, speeches, alcohol, and laughter.

"Reclaim the Future" was shot on the September 1996 Anniversary demonstration and mass picket, where anarchists took the roof of Mersey Docks headquarters while police waded into dockers on the ground.

Produced on behalf of Merseyside Port Shop Stewards Committee with labour donated by Anne-Marie Sweeney (director), Greg Dropkin, Conscious Cinema ("Reclaim the Future").
