Day of Action 8 September 1997

According to Resolution No. 1 unanimously accepted at the 2nd International Dockworkers Conference being held in Montreal on May 25-30 the Swedish Dockworkers Union has decided to take action on the International Day of Action on the 8th of September 1997.

We will, in all Swedish ports where the Swedish Dockworkers Union organizes the dockworkers, blockade all goods and every vessel to and from the ports of Liverpool and Sheerness (the ACL-vessel is scheduled for Gothenburgh on the 8th Sept.) and furthermore we will not handle any container from ACL and CAST at all. We will also intensify our fundraising campaign.
