Training rate of pay will be increased to the basic straight time rate.

401K Plan

Matching	$1.00 per hour, up to 2000 hours, payable to those members who earned a pension qualifying year.
Employee contributions	Up to $8 per hour effective January 1, 2000.

• Hardship withdrawals allowed.
• Regular withdrawals allowed after reaching age 59 1/2.
• Loans not allowed.

Pensions

• Effective July 1, 1999 for those members retiring on or after July 1, 1999. $80 per month up to 35 years.
• Effective July 1, 2000 for those members retiring on or after July 1, 1999. $90 per month up to 35 years.
• Effective July 1, 2001 for those members retiring on or after July 1, 1999. $95 per month up to 35 years.
• For Retirees prior to 7-1-93, their pensions will be brought up to $65 per month per qualifying year by July 1, 2001.
• For Retirees after 7-1-93 through 6-30-99. No increase in pension.
• Increases also for surviving spouses and dependent children.

Welfare

• 100% HMO, 100% PPO, 80-20 non-PPO - Various coverages have been added or improved.

Maintenance & Repair

• Some increased rights for mechanics

Terminal - to - Terminal Drayage

• Coast wide, 140 members to be trained by January 1, 2000.

Vacations

• Beginning in 2001, vacation checks to be received in February.

Holidays

• As soon as practical, holiday pay to be paid the week following the holiday.

Vessel Planning Training - more members to be trained.

Dispatch hall costs - PMA share increased to 85%.

Small Ports - additions to the registration lists to maintain no less than 10 registrants.

S.F. night steady men - guarantee increased to 42.5 hours per week.
