The more hatred put forth on the ILWU, the more I smile and feel a sense of pride about becoming a registered member someday. Everyone seems to be angry with the ILWU – the stinking media, the penny-penching pma, and those gutless members of the uninformed public. It’s as if we’re supposed to give up everything, just to make everyone else happy. We should all be so nice and accept whatever the pma wants to give us. oooh!
The economy is hurting, truckers can’t make a profit, and retailers actually risk losing some money. THE HELL WITH ALL THAT! If we’re taken care of, then everyone else will be. Believe it or not, the ILWU is truly America’s Most Wanted.
