Vote NO Brothers and Sisters.
We can all try to justify the inequities of this contract proposal and probably come up with some kind of justification for a yes vote, but the bottom line is this is not a good contract for our union. We deserve better. The purpose of the employer is pretty much self evident. Split the ILWU into as many different factions as possible let us fight among ourselves and destroy this union. Create as much greed as possible so that the weaker members of our union can be bought.
We must stand together for the good of the union. When You vote ask yourself one question. Is this for the good of all? Or does it serve a few?
