Lets hear from the members that are going to vote YES on this contract. I have just read the PMA propasals for this contract. How can I vote no when :
Wages increase 8%
Retirees receive immediate raise(plus more in the next 2 years)
Widows receive immediate raise which is quite a bit more than 5% if you realize
that the base rate is immediately raised.
Medical will increase from phony 50% to 100%.
If a member dies widow receives benefits & retirement.
Training rates are increased.
Registration is guaranteed in small ports.
PMA will pay 85% of hall costs (it seems that this is what they used to pay)
Of all the PMA demands that they had , What did they take from us? Also, about the computer dispatch. I myself am not afraid of this. I can think of ways to make this work to our benefit . If I can figure out how to do this I am sure as a whole , WE can make this work to help our dispatch. It is not all that difficult or threatening to us.
