Who Should We Fund?

Robert...

While we’re on the subject, how about a fund for the wives of citizens murdered by the police while in handcuffs. It takes a very special kind of coward to shoot a man in handcuffs.

Come to think of it, I could of used a fund of my own back in 1983 after being brutally beaten by 5 LAPD officers for the ’crime’ of attending a punk rock concert. I can’t say that the LAPD invented the “Police Riot,” but they sure as hell perfected it. It took me a decade to pay off the medical bills.

“Funds for wives” aside, I fail to see any benefit of keeping an innocent man locked up in jail. It ain’t justice and it ain’t cost effective. It’s a lose-lose scenario brother.

I know, I know... there are good cops and bad cops (just like the rest of the general population). It’s just that I’ve never come across a good cop here in Los Angeles.
