All I’m saying is that cops (for the most part) have a thankless job that I wouldn’t want to have. They are expected to be uncorrupted in a corrupt world. I agree there have been some violent abuses of human rights perpetrated and even covered up by other cops. Im not denying this. But they are people just like us. I grew up with kids that became cops as im sure most of us have. They come from different backgrounds, economic and racial. I don’t believe any friends that I grew up with that are now cops are basing their actions on what the English had in mind when first created a “police force” . They see something wrong, they try their best to correct it. Are they all perfect? No. Do we expect them to be? Yes. I’m not condoning any bad cops, just saying that things aren’t always how they seem and all cops are not corrupt.
