PACC Container Line, a subsidiary of Pacific Carriers Limited of Singapore, recently initiated a chartered break-bulk service to New Orleans from Indonesia. The cargo is palletized rubber. The first three ships were worked by ILA labor employed by Ceres Gulf, Inc. The fourth ship, the M/V Al Rayyan, has been taken to non-union stevedore Maritrend and is working at their terminal now. Be alert! If they’ll do it to us they’ll try to do it to you. It’s just a matter of time.
