New poster design - a Classic

The 25th Anniversary of the Miners strike and 3rd Working Class bookfair on March 14th at the Linskill centre is starting to build up a real momentum. Different publicity items so far have included different postcards and business card size items, but that was only the beginning.

Now, we are launching 10000 posters and leaflets which have been printed, and the great Socialist Realist design of the poster can be seen here.

This Socialist realist design was from the great days of the International working class movement in the early 20th century, and it is appropriate for use when we are trying to build a new working class movement for the 21st century. Beyond the stale and sectarian old left, and towards new glory days. The North shall rise again.
