Liverpool dockers demonstration -speeches, interviews, messages

Two years is two years too long
to be locked out,
scabbed, replaced
for having committed an act of loyalty
to the human race.

And now international support
of unions, survivalists
and the likes of John Pilger
and Ken Loach
mark a fight that's become worldwide
and doesn't ride in a royal coach.

Ordinary Joe and Jane
know exactly what we mean.
Two years is two years too long.
I'm not here simply to sing a song.
We're all down for the dockers
and coming on strong.

This fall the bosses fall!
Two years is two years too long.
