Strike Solidarity Committee, 6. 00 pm, Monday 12 November, Mechanic’s Institute, Princess Street,

150 nurses in the UNISON Manchester Community and Mental Health branch are now on indefinite strike for the re-instatement of their branch chair, Karen Reissmann.

A Solidarity Committee has been established with the support of Manchester Trades Union Council. This will meet every Monday at 6. 00 pm in the Mechanic’s Institute, Princess Street, Manchester.

The main tasks of the committee are raising money and organising for the solidarity rally on Wednesday 14 November and the demonstration on Saturday 24 November.

All union branches are asked to send representatives. All trade unionists welcome.
