Dear friends!
On March 20, approaching the 2 anniversary of the opening of the war on Iraq, executive committee (20 labor unions of transport workers of land, sea, air, and long-shore, etc) staged a rally in Hibiya Outdoor Large Music Hall in solidarity with workers all over the world. 6000 workers gathered in this rally and they determined to struggle against mobilization of workers into war and the revision of Japanese Constitution. An Iraqi speaker reported cases, massacres, suffering of Depleted Uranium etc., by US armies under occupation of US.
After the rally, participants carried out a demonstration to downtown. They called for the withdrawal of US troops and the Self Defense Forces of Japan in Ginza.
