Dear Friends:

The second anniversary of the killing of Rachel Corrie, deserves a respectful and appreciative stand in support of her martyrdom, that represented a genuine international support and solidarity with the Palestinian people, against the Israeli occupation and its practices, Such practises posed a threat to all human values in general, and the daily life of the Palestinian people in particular. including violating their health, security, economical, educational, social, cultural and psychosocial rights.

The stead-fasteness and determination of Palestinian people to achieve freedom and selfdetermination represents, a continuous movement of the whole world nations towards achieving social justices, and ending the domination of international imperialism, represented by the flagrant intervention of the USA in the Middle East and everywhere,.

Frank example of this, is the support the Israeli occupation economically, militarily, and politically to oppress the Palestinian people.

Rachel Corrie was an American woman, striving for peace and justice. Through her killing, she sat an example of such human values as she was defending the demolition of palestinian children’s homes in Rafah.

Rachel was gone as did thousands of Palestinians in an effort to achieve freedom, justice, and independence.

In the second anniversary of her killing, I would like to share with you the achievements of our joint project. Rachel Corrie Children’s Center,

The project is completed in terms of construction, preparation, and staffing. Membership in the center attracted a large number of children to enable them to benefit from the educational programs offered by the center including; a public library, computer center, painting & arts, and other activities such as Palestinian folklore dancing and theatre.

This project is a gift to all Palestinian children in Rafah who suffered tremendously as a result of the Israeli occupation practices over the past four years.

I am hoping that this center, becomes a bridge of love and friendship between the children of Rafah and the children of the World in order to strengthen ties and solidarity with the international community. This can be achieved through communication via the internet and media as well as mutual visits and activities.

The generous efforts, which supported this project from within Palestine, the Arab world, Europe, and USA, were all the main reason behind the success of the Rachel Corrie Children’s Center.

Congratulations for all of us.

For everyone contributed to support this project. by donating directly or through others

To all who donated towards this project “regardless if it was one dollar or a hundred thousands dollars“............. By supporting this project, you have proved your belongingness to the humanitarian family, working towards achieving social justices and fighting oppression and injustice worldwide

Yours in solidarity
