Fellow Workers,

At its general membership meeting on Wednesday, June 1 the St. Catharines & District Labour Council voted unanimously (with some abstentions) to endorse Carol Wall’s candidacy for Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) President and donate $100. towards her campaign to unseat current CLC President Ken Georgetti. This follows a similar movement by the CUPE local representing teaching assistants at Brock University. This also boosts support for Carol Wall’s campaign just days before she will appear at a public meeting in support of her candidacy at the CAW Local 199 Retirees Centre this coming Monday at 7:00 pm.
